Keeping Busy….

Our family has been trying to keep our spirits up and ourselves occupied during our quarantine. We are in week 3 and it may seem that these photos are redundant from previous posts– because they are. We are doing many of the same activities and adding some new ones. Bare with me as there are a lot of photos in this post. I am really striving to capture it all and make the mundane look a little more special so my kids will look back on this time and remember the good that came of it. We are healthy and settling into this new lifestyle as best we can. It is hard but we are making it work. For now, here are my photos and my “journal” notes for each. My husband is working on strengthening his core. He spends time every day doing various exercises to improve his body. Very inspirational.

Our home is constantly shifting the locations where we each do work, school and chats.

Today I asked them to show me expressions of how this quarantine and Coronavirus epidemic feels to them (left). Then their dad pulled a quick April Fools prank to capture the photo on the right!

I have decided to work at being in more of the photos. I have purchased something that will help but it has not come yet. Today I set the camera on a tripod and asked the kids to join me. I have never taken a portrait of myself with them until today.
